It has a prescriptive issue and a conclusion. A prescriptive issue is a question about how the world should be. A conclusion is an answer to the question asked by the issue that the author wants the reader to accept. Some significant ambiguity is also present in Lister’s article. Significant ambiguity is a word or statement that is unclear, and the word’s meaning affects the reader’s ability to accept the conclusion. I will prove that I have found the correct issue and conclusion and some significant ambiguity using text from Lister’s article. The issue in the article â€Å"What should the U.S. do about ISIS? Show Sunnis we care† by Charles Lister is â€Å"How should the United States respond to ISIS.† Proof of this issue can be found in Lister’s writing. In the first paragraph he states that the United States cannot defeat ISIS militarily. The U.S. must help improve the sociopolitical issues in the Middle East. These two statements answer the issue I put forth. The second and third paragraphs discuss how ISIS has not only attracted foreigners to fight in its jihad; it has also befriended the oppressed Sunni Muslims. The Sunnis, consequently, are allowing ISIS to work freely in their territory. Paragraph three asks the question are the Sunnis still loyal to their country, or are they only loyal to their religion

Smoking in Philippine Setting A joint collaborative effort of the Republic of the Philippines Department of Health (DOH) and National Statistics Office, through DOH’s100% Smoke-Free Philippines campaign backed by Philippine’s Republic Act 9211, The Tobacco Regulation Act of 2003, conducted two related important studies regarding smoking. Both researches were published last February 16, 2012 as factsheets for public references. The first study focuses on Youth/Student population and the second one was on adult. Is it possible that a paradoxical situation, a kind of musical superiority has evolved despite these basic concepts that permeates the ideological back ground of the psychedelic community? What aspect of music throws you into a trance-like state of mind is up to you and your own personal taste. It can be the fast, repetitive drums of darkpsy, the frisky, vivid sound effects of full on, the deep, perpetual soundscapes of psybient or even the slow, deep pulsation of progressive psy. You are even likely to attach a psychedelic quality to any other kind of musical genre – even to some that are not included in a line up like that of O. Z. O. R. A. We could even consider the possibility that the listener has an active role in the process, that the „psychedelicness† of music (at least partly) depends on him/her, and it is not necessarily involved or defined by the sounds music is built up of. This seems to be the reason why it is such a subjective observation, and that is why the notion of psychedelic electronic music varies so significantly from person to person.
